Behavioral Therapist
Morgan Alexander is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, and families across a range of emotional and behavioral needs. Her approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care. Morgan believes in meeting each child and family where they are, tailoring treatment to support meaningful growth, resilience, and lasting change. She prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships that create a safe space for clients to feel understood, empowered, and supported.
Morgan has worked in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs serving children and adolescents. In this role, she has provided direct crisis intervention and facilitated both group and individual therapy. Her experience includes supporting youth experiencing acute anxiety, mood dysregulation, school-related challenges, and significant family stressors.
Morgan is specialty trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based treatment for complex anxiety disorders. She has extensive experience treating children and adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, school refusal, specific phobias, separation anxiety, and perfectionism. In addition to ERP, Morgan integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her work, thoughtfully adapting interventions to meet each client’s developmental and emotional needs.
Morgan earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Illinois, where she specialized in child and family services. Her clinical foundation was shaped through her work in a hospital setting, providing case management services to children and adolescents navigating complex medical and psychosocial challenges.
Morgan is committed to helping children and families build practical coping skills, increase emotional insight, and develop confidence in managing life’s challenges—both inside and outside the therapy room.
